Beginning this year, current members of the Groves Drumline will provide help sessions for those auditioning. These sessions are designed to help anyone auditioning for the Groves Drumline, but anyone is welcome to attend, regardless if they are auditioning this year or at all. 

 

The 2015 help sessions will be held in the Music Wing on campus weekly beginning in February, 2015 and continuing to the last audition. Visitors, please be aware that parking will be much more available at the staff lot. Parking is completely free after 4:00 in all lots (Prior to 4 o'clock all vehicles must have a permit or visitor pass.)

 

We will provide drums and cymbals. You should bring music and sticks / mallets. Snares should bring pads or a personal drum if desired, as we have 5 drums but no extras, and tenors may wish to bring drums or pads depending on attendance, as we have 2 sets of tenors and a couple of pads belonging to members, but no extras. Basses will want to bring sticks as 4 drummers will rotate on our drums at a time. We will also use tom drums as replacements.
